London Youth Games - Karate   Well done to Havering's Girls and Boys Karate Teams who competed at the London Youth Games on Sunday 29th June 2008. The Girls team took overall top spot to win their fourth successive title making them one of the most successful squads ever. The Boys team, not wishing to be outdone by their female counterparts, also took top spot in the boys competition adding to their win last year ensuring Havering maintained a firm grip on both trophies for another year.   The girls team did brilliantly well with only one team member not medalling due to a 1st round injury. The rest of the girls all came away with Gold, Silver and Bronzes. The boys had a tougher time of things securing a 50% medal hall from the team.
