Havering Games

Havering Games - SquadThe Selection for the Heathrow London Youth Games were concluded on Saturday 10th May at the Hornchurch Sports Centre, Harrow Lodge. The Havering Games brought together the brightest stars of Karate throughout Havering each hoping to gain the honour of representing their borough at the London Youth Games at Crystal Palace in June. The names of the winners of each category are shown below and were automatically selected to represent Havering. For a full set of results, click HERE

Although a good turn out for the Havering games allowed some good competition for places, a number of clubs and associations were not in attendance. This may be due to the lack of interest in the eliminations for the Heathrow London Youth Games, or just insufficient notice, Whatever the reasons, it's a shame any child is denied the right to compete for his borough. Let's hope next year we have an even better turn out for next years event, with plenty of notice, advertising and broad minded coaches.
